American Tech Supply is a USA based national distributor with stocking and warehousing providing all major types of BABA innerduct or Build American, Buy America – BABA. (What is Build America, Buy America)
Wyoming Innerduct Markets
Our innerduct can be used for today’s Fiber To The Home deployments, water, electrical, agricultural and sewage construction. ATS fully complies with the BABA, Build America Buy American Act for all our innerduct product from telecommunications to irrigation, agriculture, sewer and power industries.
As a Wyoming telecommunications innerduct supplier we have been providing our duct and innerduct sizes from ¾ inch to 24 and 26 inches in diameter to all industries. Please call us and ask for engineering support at (866) 650-3282 for additional information.
Innerduct Diameter
We provide the State of Wyoming many innerduct solutions ranging from standard smoothwall innerduct to ribbed innerduct – (see more info) to microduct (See more info)
The most common Wyoming innerduct diameters range from ¾ inch innerduct , 1 inch smoothwall innerduct, 1.25 inch innerduct, 1.50 Inch innerduct, 2 inch smoothwall innerduct, 3 inch innerduct and 4 inch innerduct up to 26 inches in diameter. And we also carry Schedule 40 and Schedule 80 Innerduct in several colors.
Smoothwall HDPE is the most commonly used underground raceway and is packaged in continuous lengths on standard and custom reels or coils for corrugated innerduct allowing for fast installation with minimum joints. Smoothwall innerduct can be joined using couplers. Smoothwall innerduct can be installed via trenching, plowing and directional drilling. Smoothwall innerduct is available in numerous colors and stripe combinations for easy identification. There are numerous wall thicknesses available as required for the specific type of installation and application and type of fiber cable, electrical , water, gas or sewage duct. The thickness of the walls is called SDR for standard dimensional ratio.
Colors:
Our innerduct from SDR 9 to SDR 17 to Schedule 40 and 80 come in a variety of colors from standard orange, blue, green, white, gray, black, red, yellow , lavender and custom if needed.
Smoothwall innerduct also can be ordered with ribbing inside.
This ribbed innerduct (ribbed innerduct) allowing for less friction inside the conduit when pulling cable. Traditional innerduct uses pull tape placed into or blown through the conduit between underground vaults placed every 250-1000 feet. The pull tape ranges from 1250 pounds pulling/tensile strength to 6000 pounds.
In todays FTTH or fiber to the home technology the fiber is blown through the conduit up to 2000 feet or more. Furthermore the use of microduct (microduct) allows a carrier to run multiple types and fibers through a 2 to 4 inch microduct system. Please visit our microduct solutions section.
What does SDR stand for?
SDR is the Standard Dimension Ratio. Technically, it is the nominal outside diameter divided by the minimum wall thickness. The larger the SDR, the thinner the wall thickness. You can look up these specifications in ASTM F2160, D3485, NEMA TC7 or UL for standard SDR numbers. to meet the particular installation methods and ground conditions ranging from SDR.
SDR is the Size to Diameter Ratio (or Standard Dimension Ratio), that is, the ratio of the inside diameter (SIDR) or outside diameter (SODR) of the duct or innerduct to the wall thickness of the duct or innerduct. The smaller the SDR number the thicker the wall of the duct.
Smaller SDR numbers also mean that the duct or innerduct has higher tensile strength and greater crush resistance than a comparable product with a higher number.
Tracer Wire
When placing innerduct in routes, tracer wire is used to locate the innerduct between vaults and locations.
Our standard innerduct does not come with tracer wire but can be ordered with our key partners like DuraLine that manufacture tracer wire into the duct.
