LightLink System 2 - 4RU Optical Splice Shelf The LightLink™ System 2 - 4RU Optical Splice Shelf (OSS) is designed to provide a convenient in-rack splicing and interconnection point for Outside Plant (OSP) cabling entering a Central Office (CO), Controlled Environmental Vault (CEV), Headend (HE), or customer location. Each unit is designed to handle up to 288 single-fused or 864 mass-fused fibers located in six sliding, telescoping splice tray assemblies. Each splice tray is capable of handling up to 48 individual single-fused or up to 144 mass-fused fibers, with minimum bend radius routing and protection. Trays are ordered separately.
