| There are two standards for wiring color code, 568A and 568B. While there’s no difference in connectivity between 568A and 568B, 568B is the most prevalent wiring color code in the US. Our patch cable is 568B wired. |

| UTP is Unshielded Twisted Pair and STP is Shielded Twisted Pair. STP cable is wrapped in metal foil or braid. Both have the same Ethernet communication performance, but STP has better protection against Electro-Magnetis noise from outside. UTP is accepted for residential and general commercial installation. |
