The 7-16 name derives from the metric dimensions of the connector outer diameter inner contact (7mm) and
inner diameter of outer contact (16mm). There are designed to operate with power levels of 100 watts per channel. The ability
to operate at elevated power levels has made this series gain acceptance in the U.S market.
They were developed according to DIN 47223 and provide improved system performance due to its low
intermodulation and low VSWR.
They are manufactured with silver plated contacts and silver plated bodies, which delivers high conductivity and
resistance against corrosion, providing long and trouble free life.
