    Gigabit Ethernet connectivity key technology in today’s networks. BATM/Telco Systems' T5G is specifically designed for data center switchconcentration needs in the core, data center, and server farms of small-to-medium enterprises, and for the high-speed network aggregation requirements of mid-size or large enterprises. The T5G is a cost-effective, and high-density Gigabit Ethernet switch with 10 fixed ports that can be flexibly configured as 1000BaseT copper or 1000BaseX fiber interfaces. An additional 2 GBIC ports allow network extension up to 70 km.

    Incorporating a non-blocking switching architecture with wire-speed performance, the T5G propagates network traffic over the existing infrastructure while eliminating bottlenecks and enhancing network performance.

    BATM/Telco Systems' T5G supports a vast array of standards and features that are needed for today’s high-performance networks. The T5G supports IEEE standards 802.1d Spanning Tree, 802.1w&s Rapid & Multiple Spanning Tree, 802.1p Class of Service with remarking, 802.1q VLAN tagging and others. Transparent LAN services, resilient ports, Type of Service, and Telnet client are part of the T5G’s robust feature set.

    Administrators can use industry-standard SNMP-based network management systems, or BiNOSCenter, BATM/Telco Systems' EMS/NMS Element/Network Management System. BiNOSCenter provides the network operator a powerful, state-of-the-art tool for SNMPbased configuration, monitoring and maintenance. To directly access units, BATM/Telco Systems switches support a robust Command Line Interface that complies with the de facto industry standard. Web-based management is possible using an embedded Java™ based management technology
