Excessive loop current or AC level may cause:
The 97A-x reduces excessive loop current to a preferred level, thus stabilizing and improving the frequency response of the circuit allowing the attenuated equipment to perform at optimal levels.
- Decreased modem performance (slow data rates)
- Modem, fax, telephone disconnects
- Equipment failures
- Random squealing and echoes
The 97A-x patented H-pad design reduces the loop frequency response from 1 dB to 8 dB, and provides from -3 mA up to -14.5 mA depending on the model ordered.
