ATEK installs all Wireless Backhaul products and systems including our Wireless Backhaul, WIFI Hotspot, WIFI, custom Tampa WIFI Installation, and WIFI Installations. WiFi (wireless fidelity) is a high-frequency wireless local area network (WLAN or Wireless LAN) that provides high-speed data networking. It is widely deployed in public areas know as hotspots (Internet cafes, campus, airports, hotels) and residential, multi-tenant buildings and enterprise where it’s used as an alternative to a wired LAN. WiFi brings the Internet to users with wireless laptops or PDAs and soon to cell phones regardless of their location.ATEK Communications now can provide you with Mesh Networks that can seamlessly provide owners of hotels and resorts. All ATEK Communications offices are part of a nationwide team of network installation personnel can be mobilized anytime, anywhere. These experts are backed by seasoned teams of administrators, project managers, and technicians who are equipped to handle virtually any project. Established relationships with leading vendors also assure the best possible service and quality equipment is provided to our customers.

We carry a family of products deliver high performance wireless mesh network systems. We employ a multi-radio, multi-channel, and multi-RF mesh networking architecture that delivers highly scalable and extremely flexible networking systems. Capable of delivering high throughput and low latency over large scale mesh networks, the Access/One Network is ideal for voice, video, and data networking applications.
Need a Wireless Network For A tradeshow Or Event?
Temporary Networks
All types of organizations around the world are realizing the benefits of using wireless networks to provide network access in environments that were traditionally hard to wire or impossible to wire. Wireless has enabled high speed connectivity for devices and people in warehouses, hotels, campuses, and other locations where wired network access is difficult or impossible to provide. But what about locations like convention centers or disaster response areas that are difficult to wire, and require the network itself to be temporary? The Strix Access/One Network is ideal for deployments where a network needs to be quickly installed, and then removed at the completion of a short term event or incident.
The Challenge:
A band on tour, a disaster response team from an oil and gas company, and a trade show exhibition company; what do they all have in common? They all set up in many locations over the course of a year, and want to have network access available to them. A previous option might have been to lay out wire, wasting valuable time to set up and take down the network, so they turned to wireless. But first generation wireless access points only eliminated the wire between the access point and the client device, but still require wiring to the access point. It’s only a partial fix.
The Solution:
A Strix Access/One Network uses mesh technology, eliminating the need for wire when deploying networks in indoor and outdoor environments. Access/One Network nodes provide connectivity for clients, then aggregate that client traffic and route it throughout the mesh network until it reaches its termination point. If coverage is required over a few thousand square feet, or many square miles, the Access/One Network scales up or down to meet the specific requirements of the deployment. With a multi-radio, multi-channel, and multi-RF mesh system, the Access/One Network delivers high throughput and low latency across any size network. And, with the self-configuring, self-tuning, and self-healing features of the system, the network can be quickly installed, and is inherently reliable.
Management and security are built in to the system, providing single click system wide configuration changes while ensuring that unauthorized users can’t gain access. Best of all, when it comes time to remove the network it is as simple as unplugging the nodes and putting them in a box. Access/One Networks enable the temporary deployment of high performance mesh networks that are secure, manageable, scalable, and easy to install and operate.

Advantages for Temporary Networks:
- Self-Configuring and Self-Tuning – An Access/One Mesh Network configures itself and tunes itself for optimal performance, making for a quick installation and reliable operation
- High Performance – Multi-radio, multi-channel mesh system delivers high bandwidth and low latency across multiple hops so the network can be used for real-time applications like voice and video, in addition to data
- All Environments – With extended operating temperature ranges and weatherproof enclosures, Access/One Networks can be deployed as temporary networks in any indoor or outdoor environment
- Highly Scalable – Nodes can be easily added to extend coverage areas or to accommodate increased user density
Wireless Backhaul Networks
ACCESS/ONE® NETWORK OWS IS A COHERENT MULTI-RADIO, MULTI-CHANNEL, AND MULTI-RF WIRELESS MESH NETWORK SYSTEM THAT BRINGS EXTENDED RANGE, COMPREHENSIVE MANAGEMENT AND ENHANCED SECURITY TO LARGE SCALE METROPOLITAN AND REGIONAL NETWORKS.
Access/One Network OWS enables the deployment of 802.11 networks across large urban areas, rural counties and entire regions — ideal for government agencies, public utility and transportation providers, and mobile users who want uninterrupted service on a citywide basis. Unlike traditional access points that offer limited coverage within predefined hot spots, or single radio/single RF mesh solutions that won’t scale, Access/One Network OWS provisions wireless hot zones that can extend over hundreds of square miles. Not an access point, but a fully integrated and coherent wireless network system that delivers intelligence, scalability, security and unrivaled performance to the outdoor environment.Access/One Network OWS enables the deployment of 802.11 networks across large

Access/One Network OWS builds on our proven indoor distributed mesh architecture by offering backhaul and client services in a high performance 802.11a/b/g model, unlike competitive solutions that offer either a single wireless technology or require third party APs to provision client services. The roles of specific nodes within the network are determined by the mix of modules mounted in the enclosure and how they are configured—either client connect, network connect, or network server. The Access/One Network OWS can support any combination of 802.11 a/b/g, both to the client and in the mesh backbone, dedicating modules for specific functions within a node. Supporting up to 6 radios in an Access/One Network OWS node means maximum flexibility to deliver multi-radio mesh backbones, and multi-RF client connectivity

Guests in hospitality environments expect to have Internet access during their stay," said Kami Taylor, Vice President - Sales and Marketing of Datanamics Inc, a Firetide partner and leading provider of network design, installation and support services for the hospitality market. "A HotPort wireless mesh network eliminates backbone wiring so networks can be installed instantly and virtually anywhere, including areas where network cabling is too difficult or expensive to install, such as historic or older buildings."
HotPort 3101 Mesh Network
HotPortTM 3101 indoor mesh nodes connect wirelessly to other HotPort nodes forming a self-configuring, self-healing mesh network that scales quickly and easily, resulting in a powerful and reliable wireless network. The low cost HotPortTM 3101 nodes feature fast 10 Mbps throughput making them ideal for deploying affordable, high-speed Wi-Fi HotZones. They feature a built-in four port 10/100 Ethernet switch, two omni-directional antennas and a high-capacity dual spectrum radio operating at 2.4 GHz for maximum range and penetration or at 5 GHz for minimal interference from 2.4 GHz devices. VLAN support and multiple encryption choices enable secure private networks. "With the HotPort 3101, we offer our hospitality customers the ability to install a fully operational mesh network quickly, easily and affordably," said Bo Larsson, CEO of Firetide "The capacity and flexibility of the HotPort 3101 mesh network allows public access for guests and private access for service and security staff to share the same wireless backbone without compromising performance, security, or range of coverage."
Firetide leads the market in mesh hospitality deployments including several Holiday Inns, the State Fair of Dallas, the Telluride Bluegrass Festival, the Los Gatos Opera House conference center, and many other hospitality venues.
