Plumett offers two different styles of airtight couplers for Jetting Technology. The DC-10 Series is an aluminum, split,
four-bolt, clam-shell design which allows for accessing the cable once installed. If desired, the coupler is removed, and slack
coils may be Jetted to any location in the duct run. If placing slack coils or maintenance loops is necessary this is the
recommended coupler. It is re-usable for several applications reducing its cost per installation. The DH-10 Duct Holder Tool
is recommended for easy installation by the technician.
The second style in the series is our plastic “Push to Connect” P2C style with a transparent barrel so the technician can be
sure the coupler is properly installed avoiding potential air loss or blow-outs. The P2C may be removed by loosening the
collars, but once the cable is installed it cannot be removed. The P2C is ideal for airtight installations in which the cable
need not be accessed such as direct buried applications.
