Structurally rugged, non-metallic outer housing construction offers dent resistance, corrosion protection, electric shock safety and positive alignment in opening and closing.

A corrugated channel base design provides secure footing in all in-plant installations, allows installation with or without the use of mounting stakes, and prevents frost heave.

Universal Buried Distribution Closures Mean Lower Costs Lightning,

pedestals provide superior environmental protection of splice connections, terminal
blocks and other OSP hardware resulting in lowered costs, reduced maintenance

comprehensive line of PEDLOCK options and accessories offers service providers
the flexibility necessary for every type of OSP application. CP2
Pedestals include a unique corrugated channel base with increased capacity resulting
from its square design. The base is split in two halves for easy installation
around installed plant conduit and cable bundles. Internally, an innovative rail
mount system accepts two types of splice bracketsa U-Backboard or S-Bracketgiving
users added flexibility in splicing and cable management. The dome features a
self-lock and positive alignment guides for quick and secure opening and closing.

Non-metallic PVC construction wont rust, corrode, chip or fade. Internal
equipment is protected from floods, fires, and wind-blown dust and debris
Corrugated channel base eliminates the need for metallic mounting stakes in most
soil conditions. The bases square design increases capacity and easily accepts
conduit bundles Split base design allows for easy and speedy access to cable/wire
entrance area. Four 1¼ circular knockouts and one 4½
x 1½ rectangular mouse hole knockout below the ground-line
provide easy exits for service wires without disturbing gravel or pedestal base
fill. Stake mounting holes on three of the bases sides provide flexibility
in placement of mounting stake Two splice bracket options provide users with
a choice in splicing arrangements. The U-Backboard accommodates all types of terminal
blocks and load coil cases with ladder bars on back for cable splices. The S-Bracket
features an open ladder bar architecture for large pair-count splices. Both bracket
options mount to the base of the pedestal using an innovative rail mount system
that allows the brackets to be removed without the use of tools Ground bars
meet all GR-13-CORE requirements for proper grounding of service wires and cable
sheaths Self-locking dome with positive alignment guides ensures quick opening
