American
Tech Supply now carries Maxcell, the superior replacement for Maxcell's new textile fabric innerduct which
is the world's only flexible fabric textile innerduct. Maxcell purchased Maxcell in 2006 and all flexible fabric innerduct sales and support are now through Maxcell. Maxcell is a woven sleeve innerduct product manufactured from
polyesters monofilaments and designed to optimize allocation for cables within
conduit structures. Maxcell has COLORED striping on the actual sleeve- not
on the pull rope -unlike the Maxcell innerduct which has the "color strip
on the rope. We also stock plenum innerduct, fiber optic duct, conduit and raceway
systems including Fiber Duct, Outside Plant Conduit, Plenum Innerduct, Riser Rated
Innerduct, Toneable Duct, Corrugated Innerduct and more. Corrugated HDPE Premier
Corrugated HDPE is manufactured from High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) and is intended
to be placed inside of existing innerduct. It¹s ideal for pulls under 1000
ft. and is designed to reduce surface contact when pulling cable. This lightweight
product offers maximum flexibility, and allows for installation in small or restricted
areas. Corrugated duct is available in 1" and 11/4". The standard color
is orange and is offered in a variety of other colors. Sequential marked footage
is standard. Custom options, such as multiple colors per reel and Slit Duct, are
also available. Please Note That CableGuide Has Been Purchased By Maxcell in 01/06 And The Product Transition Is Taking Place To All Maxcell Products
MaxCell is the only flexible, multi-celled, textile innerduct system designed specifically for the network construction industry.
The unique textile construction allows MaxCell to conform to the shape of cables placed within, greatly reducing the wasted space associated with rigid innerduct.
MaxCell Will:
· Reduce the number of conduits required for new network construction
· Minimize need for additional conduit in overlay applications
· Enable incremental cable deployment to match system requirements
MaxCell is a versatile solution for the complex problems faced by today’s engineers, contractors, and network providers. MaxCell configurations include one, two, and three cell designs for use in 1.25” or larger conduits; and most are available in Standard, Plenum, and Detectable versions.
Over 100 million feet of MaxCell innerduct have been successfully installed around the globe in a variety of applications including:
· Cable TV
· Telecom
· Power/Utilities
· Municipalities
· University, Corporate, and Hospital campuses
· Military and Government installations

Maximizing cable capacity within conduit is one of the most important aspects of successful cable installation. Conventional HDPE innerduct limits the amount of cable that can be installed. Maxcell conforms to the shape of cable instead of holding a circular profile. Maxcell improves space utilization up to 85 percent as compared to 60 percent or less with traditional rigid innerduct products. Now you can increase space utilization in both occupied and unoccupied conduit far beyond what traditional rigid innerduct can achieve. Installers can now dramatically simplify the installation process and greatly reduce installation costs.
Due to its single cell design, Maxcell can be engineered to accomodate many different cable sizes. Standard and detectable versions are available on 1000, 2500 and 5000-foot recyclable spools. Single-cell sizes currently available range from ¾" to 1¾" in ¼" increments. Customized configurations and packaging are also available.
Benefits of Using Maxcell®:
- Maximizes conduit space utilization
- Place several cables at once or add them one at a time
- Install in preoccupied duct with existing cables or innerduct
- Shortens location time - Detectable versions available (24 AWG)
- Utilizes warehouse space efficiently
- Easy to handle, ship, store and dispose
Product Features:
- Lightweight and highly flexible
- Individual reels can accomodate from 1 to 4-cell configurations
- Protects against moisture absorption
- Chemical and ultraviolet (UV) resistant
- Weighs a fraction of traditional innerduct products
- Conforms to available space during installation
- Maintains a flat profile for shipping and storage
- Packaged on a wooden spool with plastic fiber flanges
- Permanent color-coded identification striped cells
- Pre-installed MULETAPE® printed with sequential footage markers
- Customized packaging and configurations also available
Compatible with Multiple Installation Methods
Maxcell can be easily installed by the traditional method of being pulled into the conduit or by using the air blown method using the NEPTCO MULEGUN®. The air blown method's ability to reduce installation time and labor makes the technique a growing trend

Cable
Guide allows you to place the maximum number of cables in any type of conduit
network structure. By taking the shape of the cables placed within, Maxcell
allows you to utilize up to 80% of available duct space. Previously
limited to three cables in a four" conduit, Maxcell customers can now
place up to nine cables in the same conduit! Maxcell works
with every known type of cable including: Fiber Optic -Telephone
Power-Utility
-Premise -Outside Plant -Underground
Cable
Guide is a woven sleeve manufactured from polyester monofilaments and designed
to optimize allocation of cables within conduit structures. The fabric takes on
the shape in the conduit allowing it to conform to the available
space. Maxcell simplifies the installation process by allowing several cables
to be placed at once so each cable to be added one at a time. This feature makes
it the perfect tool for installing new networks initially or up-grading existing
ones. Maxcell can also be installed into pre-occupied duct with existing cable-thus
maximizing cable density. Pulling
tape and color tracers are both key features included in the design of Maxcell.
Pulling tape is included in each cell to assist in drawing cables over long lengths
with the help of pulling devices commonly used by installation contractors. The
colored tracers are included to easily identify each cell
Maxcell saves
you valuable resources by allowing you to minimize the size of duct structures
while maintaining cable density. In some cases, Maxcell eliminates the need
for new structures altogether by allowing you to utilize existing duct space.
Maxcell
is available in a range of configurations to meet various industry requirements
and conduit sizes. Installation and termination accessories are also available. Please
