| MRV Products CM316xSW - Unmanaged Ethernet Switches  Compact in size and packed with useful features, the standalone Fiber DriverT Non-Managed Ethernet Switches are the ideal solution for providing affordable, easy to deploy, plug-n-play fiber connectivity for FTTX, SOHO, and Enterprise workgroup installations. With three different base models to choose from, each configurable with either Multimode or Singlemode optics, there is a Fiber Driver Non-Managed Ethernet Switch available to fit most needs. The CM316SW model is configured with one 100Base-FX port and one 10/100Base-TX port, the CM316-14SW with one 100Base-FX ports and four 10/100Base-TX ports. The CM316-17SW comes with one 100Base-FX port and seven 10/100Base-TX ports. Each Fiber Driver Non-Managed Ethernet Switch comes standard with auto-negotiation of both speed and duplex settings on the TX ports. The CM316-14SW and CM316-17SW also support auto-MDIX sensing on the TX ports, allowing for links to be established using either straight through or crossover cabling. On the CM316SW the MDI/MDIX setting of the TX port can easily be configured manually with a push of a button on the front panel. The full wire-speed forwarding rate and true non-blocking store-and-forward architecture of the Fiber Drive Non-Managed Ethernet Switches makes them suitable for even the most demanding multimedia applications. The units support backpressure and IEEE 802.3x flow control mechanisms. |
